Almost nobody offers free, CERTIFIED CPR training anywhere. It costs money to offer the class, and to offer/track certifications. The only ‘free’ classes are where someone else pays, like your company.

Check with your local YMCA or Fire Department.
I know that the ones in my area frequently offer medical training for the community. It isn’t always free, but prices are usually low (under $20), and always cheaper than going to the Red Cross (they usually charge around $50-$80 depending on which CPR course it is)

It’s hard to find places that give CPR classes for free.
The Arizona Department of Health Services offers free classes:http://www.azshare.gov/
A of right now the classes are being offered in Scottsdale, Peoria, Sun City, Glendale and Yuma. Not sure if any of those are close enough for you.
Local fire departments usually offer classes for $30-40, and sometimes will even offer them for free. You can also try local hospitals, health departments, American Red Cross branches etc. It is important to note that often the free classes provide the training, but you may have to pay for actual certification.
The AHA (American Heart Association) will sometimes offer free CPR classes during “CPR Week” which is April 1st-8th.http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.j…

I’m a new CPR instructor certified by the American Heart Association. How do I go about getting people to take my classes? A problem that I’m running into is that most hospitals give their own in-house training so it’s hard for me to find health care professionals that will take my classes, since I’ll be considered an outside agency. Also school bus companies also give in-house training to their drivers so it’s really hard to infiltrate these companies to get any business. Any help is greatly appreciated. I’m located in Queens, NY
