Is £28000/annum (24000 Basic + 4000 London Living Allowance) A Good Salary For A Physiotherapist With 3yrs Exp?

I am currently working in Dubai and my current package includes – AED 60,000/annum (in hand) + one bedroom fully furnished flat in Jumeirah + Conveyance.
I am being offered a job in London. The offer is of £28000/annum (£24000-basic + £4000-london living allowance), which will be reviewed after 6 months.
Is it worth taking the offer? I know London is one of the most expensive city! Can someone suggest if:
1. This is a good salary given my exp and profession?
2. Also if some knows, will the entire salary be taxable? Or just the basic? What kind of tax will be applied to the salary? I checked some website and figured my in hand per month would be aprox £1900. Is that correct?
3. When renting a house, is the water, electricity, gas, council tax, everything usually included in the rent? If not, how much would I be expected to pay for that? I dont mind sharing a flat, as long as I atleast have a room to myself. Is it realistic to get a good shared falt in a central ares for £600/month?

Salary Expectation For Relocating To Abu Dhabi?

I have recently been offered a vacancy in Abu Dhabi and have been asked my “Expected Salary”. Staying in India and trying to take a wild guess is a difficult decision. Can anyone help me what should be the expected salary in AED (for a job based in Abu Dhabi) if i am considering Rs 600,000 per annum for a next job if based in India? (of’course a simple currency conversion wouldn’t work). And yes i hear accomodation there is very expensive.

hi, I have been promoted from London to Dubai as a store manager. and the package they have offered me is AED 108000 per year inclusive of Basic, Housing & Transport Allowance. at year end 1 or 2 months performance bonus. 30 calender days vacation, 1 round trip economy class ticket to my home town, and medical insurance.
If the salary is inclusive of housing and transport, how much can i save ? Can 2 people live in this package, can u please give me an idea . thanks

Hi there. I am not sure what to do but I am currently a girl living in the US and might have a opportunity to train in Dubai with Marriott at one of there hotels. It would include the training, 4000 AED salary and housing, transportation to and from work and also food. And the program is for a little more than a year.
I like to go out and go dancing a lot. Is this a good offer? Will I be comfortable there with this amount? I am a recent finance graduate and I am not sure what type of salary is normal in Dubai. Any help would be great!

Guys,
I need your advice.
I have an offer from a company in Bahrain listed in Bahrain stock exchange in which Bahrain Govt has good interest through its investment company; salary offered to me is attractive and is around 2200 BHD plus Bonus and all other family benefits.
Currently I work for a well known US MNC, but in single status and paid 14000 AED . I am currently located in Saudi Arabia.
Can you guys advise me how is the offer I have in hand , I am from India and is looking for a decent apartment where Indians are around and planning to drive a CAMRY/COROLLA or Honda Accord in Bahrain or maximum a Prado.
Not a lavish spender, wife will be with me , expecting a child in November 08, I am 29 years old( just FYI)
I am a professional accountant (CA,CPA), whether there is any risk of getting my position localized in next 2 years( it’s a senior role) ,I am not really worried about loosing my job as I have a good market value both in GCC and in India , but only for own planning.

I am working as a IT proffessional in Dubai. My employer dont how to treat employers and paying me low salary and I don’t want to continue here, when I asked for cancellation of the visa he is asking me around 6000 AED to process it. I have been working for 7 months (2 visit visa, which they have provided 2 months back only they processed my employement visa). I didnt complete all my formalities (I just got the visa stamped to my passport, completed medical test). I didnt get any ID and other stuffs.
Now I am going to India for an emergency situation. I might not return to UAE again. How long my visa will be valid. I dont care about banning me here in UAE, but what will happen, in future if I want to go another country say Europe via Dubai (conn. flight). What will happen when I stay in India for 2 yrs (validity of visa will expire), Can I able to go other countries(expect UAE/GCC) later. Is there a way that I can cancel my visa from India by submitting my passport.

Is it possible to find a nice 2-br apartment for under, say, 80,000 AED within commuting distance of Abu Dhabi? I have a salary offer of 240,000, which unfortunately doesn’t include housing. My wife and I have a son (age 5) and daughter (age 2 months). We aren’t particularly fussy people – as long as the place is comfortable, and my son can go to a reasonable school, we’d be happy.
I get the feeling that living in AD can be done, providing you’re happy not to eat out all the time, and you’re willing to buy local produce. Or am I being naive? Surely not everyone is on oil company salaries and benefits…

ok i have taken a loan out in Dubai… i have about 65 000 AED (18 055 USD)still to pay but i really wana move back home to South Africa… but i wont be able to leave unless sought out my fiances..
so i figured tht i could jst organize With he bank tht i could pay from home… but thts a bit hard coz on the loan payments tht i pay now i wont be able to afford to pay tht at home on the salary i’ll be getting…
so i thought maybe i could get a bank i South Africa to take over my loan and then i can just pay them back? but i jst wondering if anyone knows the ins and outs of this kinda stuff coz i dont know the 1st thing about this stuff…how do i go about talking to the banks about it? what will make me eligible for the loan? is it even possible?

I am an Indian national male(Religion Hindu) and working in a free zone company in Fujairah. I am having free zone residence visa. I wish to marry a Phillipine national girl ( Religion Christian) who is on residence visa from Dubai as of now. What are the legal requirement and procedures for two different nationalities to get married in UAE? Where in UAE our marriage can take place and will be registered? My salary is above AED 6000 all inclusive. Will i be able tochange sponsership of my wife after marriage and sponser myself?
