Pl Provide The Information On The Cost Of Living In Dubai For A Family Of 3 Adults?

Hello All,
Good evening everybody,
I signed an employment in dubai and offered 11K AED per month, We are three, myself, wife and mother from india.
Before making the bold step to fly to dubai, just clearly wanted to know whether this offer is good, sufficient or a bad one.
Pl provide info for the following things:
1. Cost of a simple house to get on rent for 3 ppl in Sharjah? Does the cost include/exclude any other possible charges?
2. Food, we are pure vegiterians, if am a normal diet person, wt wd be the cost per person?
3. Transport, heard its better to stay SHARJAH, travel from there to my duabi office, Is there any train/bus facility, if so wt wd be the possible cost of train/bus pass per month?
4. Kindly let me know the other expenses that you have experienced such as internet, taxi to outdoor/shopping, etc?
5. How about the climate in dubai and sharjah?
6. How safe is staying with family in sharjah and working at dubai?
Any other possible information…

1. Veg couple w/o kids
2. 2 BHK preferably
3. Electricity / gas / internet costs
4. Phone cost per minute to India
5. Conveyance from Dubai to Sharjah daily
6. Car EMI’s for a car worth 60,000 AED

Salary Expectation For Relocating To Abu Dhabi?

I have recently been offered a vacancy in Abu Dhabi and have been asked my “Expected Salary”. Staying in India and trying to take a wild guess is a difficult decision. Can anyone help me what should be the expected salary in AED (for a job based in Abu Dhabi) if i am considering Rs 600,000 per annum for a next job if based in India? (of’course a simple currency conversion wouldn’t work). And yes i hear accomodation there is very expensive.

hi every1, m goin 2 abu dhabi wit ma husband this august. he has already got a job wchich will earn around 15000 AED per month. I m a cemmerce graduate and hv done several computer courses. i hv knowledge of office automation, C, HTML,Access,Tally and web page designing….Here in India i m working in a school as a computer faculty since 3 years. shall i get a job there?? will my experience in teaching will b counted?

Hey guys, I am a Chartered Accountant (with around 5 yrs) exp working in India @ 24 lakhs p.a. +bonus. I have recently been offered a salary package of AED 30000 pm ( incl of housing) and a relocation allowance of AED 25000 by a Big 4 accounting firm.
Other benefits include insurance, child education fees and other benefits.
Would u suggest me take this offer or should I negotiate with them?

Resignation From Job In Dubai?

Dear Friends,
How are you and Dubai during Ramadan?
I need your help to understand something about labor and company law around my situation detailed below, In dubai.
Last month I accepted an offer from XYZ company in dubai for the post of Executive and reached dubai on 22nd of last month.
Upon arrival they took my passport at the airport along with the visa which was a surprise considering the law around this in UAE.
Next day when I reached their office in Sharjah to complete my joining formality, I enquired about the passport and I was shocked to know that they do this with every employee of their company. And if someone wants to go on leave they have to give their “Pataka” and AED 5500 as deposit if going within 18 months of continued service with them. Also if someone wants to resign and accept some other job in the market they hardly let that happen by creating problems including employment ban.
Considering all This, I requested for an emergency leave to the management and managed to get somehow and reached India. Can you help me understand the fallbacks in this case.
How to get the residency visa cancelled from my passport?
will my employer claim the visa cost which they say is nearly AED 5500?
How will be my chance of visiting UAE again?
Is it safe to send my passport to them through courier?
Will the local Dubai Authority file any case against me or this company in India since they have a branch here.

Salary in Dubai :
Basic + car = 336000 AED p.a
Housing Allowance = 225000 AED p.a
Kids Education= Extra at actuals
Medical Insurance = Extra
Yearly ticket for family back to India= Extra
With above package can one have a status of upper middle class or somewhat lower ?
Can somebody easily purcahse a good car on monthly installments with above salary ?
Will the housing allowance enough to find a 3 bedroom flat in the posh area of Dubai ?
What will be appx savings in INR with above salary ?
