I would start an IV first, get some fluids pumped in as I monitor their vitals.  If the pulse stops, then yes, I would do CPR.  But some people naturally have a weak pulse, some are weak only because they are dehydrated, etc.  Basically, I would need to perform a thorough assessment before deciding whether or not CPR was appropriate.</p>
