Doing it wrong could actually harm someone. So, no, I would say that is a scam. I've been CPR and ACLS for quite a while, and each time I had to demonstrate my understanding of the materials taught. If you expect to be in a code situation, you'll have to utilize what you've learned, and you need to practice what you've learned. I’m not sure if that’s even possible. I've never heard of the people on your site and I don't know anything about them one way or the other, but we're all required to be certified and we all do it through the Red Cross courses, if that helps.
