Is It Possible To Become Cpr Certified Online (by An Accredited Source, Not One That Just Takes Your Money)?

I found this site…but I am skeptical as to whether or not it is nationally recognized (even though it claims to be).http://www.cprtoday.com/index.php

I can’t think how–every time I certify we have to demonstrate the techniques and how would you do that online?
I’ve never heard of the people on your site and I don’t know anything about them one way or the other, but we’re all required to be certified and we all do it through the Red Cross courses, if that helps.

I’m not sure if that’s even possible. I’ve been CPR and ACLS for quite a while, and each time I had to demonstrate my understanding of the materials taught. If you expect to be in a code situation, you’ll have to utilize what you’ve learned, and you need to practice what you’ve learned.

Well, I am certified and you have to perform the actions on a dummy so the instructor can make sure you’re doing it correctly. Doing it wrong could actually harm someone. So, no, I would say that is a scam.
