If you want work online, Check out sitercity.com. Im not sure how old you have to be but lots of Atlanta families use this site. Also, look at Craigslist.org. Some people are looking for sitters as we speak.

Try babysitting for friends and family to get references. Make up a catchy flyer and put them out (get permission first) at daycare centers, schools or other places where Moms hang out. Don't put your full name or address on the flyer (we don't want the wrong people to get your phone number). Maybe you could use your Mom's cell phone number to start. Also, you could say on your flyer: call my Mom, or call my Dad, or call my teacher, etc. Be sure to play it safe. Always get a family member to take you to the babysitting jobs and get them to meet the family.
If necessary, take a class in how to babysit and be sure to put that on your flyer along with your cpr class. Once you get started your business will grow by word of mouth, but remember to always play it safe when going to a stranger's house even if you know mutual friends. Always take your cell phone with you too. Good luck.

The CPR class is a big plus -- but you won't find babysitting work online. It's risky for the family, and certainly for you.
Start with your neighborhood. Stick a catchy flyer at your neighbors' doors and wait and see. Then branch out to neighboring communities. Be sure to mention that you can provide references, you have CPR training, and that your rates are reasonable.
Good luck.
