i don’t think its logical to do CPR underwater b/c the person will just keep gettiing water in their lungs and you might end up drowing too

First off, it’s a movie – so chill. Secondly, he was blowing air into her lungs…which can revive someone who has simply stopped breathing. But we all know she was shot in the head, there was no reviving her.

Underwater CPR can be performed by mouth to nose and by covering the patients mouth, and is usually performed when the patient is trapped or lodged underwater and is unable to be moved above water and onto dry land.
This when used correctly can save a person’s life but can be affected by the amount of fluid in their lungs.

I think, “It’s Just a movie”!!! You can share oxygen with someone via a tank underwater but if they are already at the point of NOT breathing…..

You have obviously never done a 1st Aid class where you learn CPR, as you would know that it is impossible to do CPR on any one while under water.
How do you blow air into a victim? Who has obviously drowned, their lungs would be full of water.
Also how to you do the compressions on a person under water? When you have bouancy of the water against you and the victim.
CPR
C= Cardio = Heart
P= Pulmonary = Pulmonary
R= Resusitation = Breathing for the victim
