I think your mom is one smart lady. If i were you i would have her contact the ambulance service in your area and see if they offer it, and if it has a fee. Some offer it free, some take donations, some will just plain help you. If not check with the Fire Station, and WMCA. Good Luck dear. I hope they do it for nothing as you are smart and doing something with your life. My daughter done a course in it, got certified for CPR, and a certificate to show she had completed a course. In my small town we do them at here at the fire station. A lot of schools have after school classes every once in a while and you can get your certification there. Do Not get it online. It teaches how to handle an emergency, as well as other babysitting skills. See the link below. I didn't see how much it costs, but that probably varies by location.
