Should the bra stay on or be removed?Would it make much difference either way?

If the female victim do have a large pair of breasts,then you must remove her bra because the size of the breast and the bra itself could interrupt with the compressions.when you open the bra,her breast will fall down naturally to each sides and this can make it easier to perform chest compressions where you can see clearly her ribcage and sternum where you should put your hands on to push her chest and massage her heart where it would make enough bloddflow to her brain.The bra would also needed to be remove when using a defibrillator pads to dipolarised her heart rhythm by shocking her heart with enough jolts until the heart rhythm starts beating in regular counts.The removal of the bra can also help in performing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation where IF the bra is to tight,it can be a minor obstructor for the air that you breath into her flows easily in and out her lungs.It will be more effective without the bra.You can either strap it of or cut it with a scissor.Remember,you must only take of her bra if NECESSARY!

It would waste valuable time removing the bra, however it would be a waste of your time not to, in which case I suggest cutting it off.

If you are talking about CPR, there is no need to remove the bra, because the power to push is not influenced by the bra.

There’s no need to remove a bra for CPR, which is about chest compressions and mouth to mouth breathing.

No it is not. for theyre privacy (you not getting a sexual harrasment suit) and everyone elses sake. only remove a woman/mans clothing if you need to defribulate. cpr only uses your hands and mouth.

If the woman has C cups or larger the bra must be removed to let those twins breath. A vigorous massage of the area might help revive her more quickly and aid in the energy of the administrator of the cpr. If they are smaller than C cups you probably could just pass on the whole ordeal and call 911.

CPR is an emergency condition. Sometimes ribs are broken while doing CPR. So your question does not have a logical value. Hope you got the answer.
