of course a childs ribs would crack more easily than an adults.
women tend to have more brittle bones than men due to hormone differences. men have strong bones and women have a tendencyto have brittle bones as they grow older. i believe this is due to osteoporosis. if a woman takes calcium ever day then their bones will be a little stronger but if you are still planning to sue the paramedic that broke your ribs then forget it. the paramedics will win every time.

Women's ribs are easier to break than men's. This is because most women's body frames are smaller than mens.

A women or a child is most fragile mostly due to the hormones and bone structure A child is not completely developed and is not as "strong" as an adult. However, when CPR is done correctly nothing should break at all. When you administer CPR, you compress directly below the breast bone.

In my opinion it matters more about age. An older adult's bones would theoretically break easier than a younger adult because as you age you lose bone mass and density.

A woman's. The female skeletal system is more delicate than a male's - it's related to hormones- the bones are lighter and less dense. If I remember correctly, a woman's bones are a little more translucent as well. The male bones become thicker past puberty.

homones in women make your bone calcium deteriorate over time, it's called osteoporosis. Generally speaking, because of the hormones, women's bones are more fragile than mens.... also, the heaver the person, the stronger their bones are.
