Can I Get A Job As A Er Technician Or A Paramedic?

Hi, I just got certified by red cross from a college course. The certification states emergency response care certification.
My professor said we can work as a paramedic or a ER technician.
we learned about the cpr and aed. How to give the shock to the heart to get a normal heart rhythm or beat.
I would like to know if this is true or not. I got the red cross cards of certification. that is child, infant, adult cpr and aed and a card that says eemergencyfirst responders or something like that.
I just would like to know if I can get a job with this certification. I doubt I can. I don’t belive the professor.

You can get a job as an EMT or ER tech if you are EMT certified but you cannot get a job as a paramedic. You need to go to paramedic school in order to do that.

I may be misunderstanding your question, but it sounds to me like you just have a cpr/ first responder card? No you cannot get a job as a paramedic with that.
