I have an artificial heart valve -- I know that very strong magnetic fields can cause problems. I personally prefer to keep all magnets clear of my heart.

As you noted, it's not recommended for people with defibrillators or pacemakers. But for everyone else, it is perfectly safe. Some people say keeping magnets close to your body is actually good for you, but anyway, not a problem for what you are describing.

It is not dangerous at all! Only for people with defibrillator or pacemakers like you stated because the magnetic field can discharge the batteries or inter-fear with it's function.
Wearing a magnet next to your heart can have health benefits, you can do some research on that and the theories behind it.
