Same material. I don't know what level of CPR you will be taking, but for lay people it's easier. The American Heart Association does not offer first aid classes. Good luck and have fun.

I have a Health Care Provider -grade BLS/ CPR certification (with the AHA logo). They sent me some information to study, I attended a morning long class, and took a test. My credit-card sized cert is good for two years - until next Jan.

Not at all. I first got certified when I was 9 or 10. It is something that you forget easily if you don't use it. I just took a class last week, but I use CPR often enough that I still remember everything...except infant CPR which I (thankfully) have never had to do. The first aid part of the class is equaly easy.

No, it isn't hard at all, you already have the knowledge, the courses are very similar. I got mine from American Heart Association, and it was a breeze.

No, it's very similar. I have a Health Care Provider CPR certification from the Am. Heart Assn. You already know the material--you'll do fine.
