First off defibrillators aren't actually in the heart they're connected to it and are designed to deliver electrical impulses to it when your heart goes into either VT or VF. Now to answer your question while defibrillators can save you if the conditions are right in this particular instance no a defibrillator won't save you the reason is cause they're designed to shock certain arrhythmias not replenish blood volume lost and that's the primary concern and cause of death of a GSW.
