Can You Really Revive A Person With A Defibrillator? (when “flat-line”) I Think Its Impossible…?
Yes, you can revive a person with a defibrillator. It’s not incredibly common, but it can be done. Also, a “flat-line” is not a shockable rhythm. The heart has to have some electrical activity for defibrillation to work.

Yes, ive seen it happen! what it does is it shocks the heart back into a regular rhythm, after all the heart is controlled by electircal pulses.
Its not a method which works consistently though, sometimes things have gone to far for anything to work sadly.

“flat line” (astolie) is NOT a shockable rhythm. It can be changed to a shockable one by starting an i v line (normal Saline) then pushing cardiac drugs atropine and epi .
