		<description>If they are breathing at a pretty regular pace, then you do not need to perform CPR (if they are breathing, there is a pulse - it&#039;s implied).
However, if their breathing is erratic (shallow, not steady - e.g. 1 breath every 20 sec.) then you should continue CPR.  It is safer to continue CPR on someone to ensure they are getting enough oxygen and circulation than to have someone become brain-dead because their breathing wasn&#039;t steady enough.</description>
