I’m not a day care provider, but have a hand book from my day care. It states that CPR is required every year and First Aid every 3 years. The cost here in TN is $35 for CPR and $29 for First Aid.

In Grand Rapids Michigan the cost of a CPR and First Aid Class Combination is $60 initial Training & $45 Renewal CPR and First Aid Certification. While the American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Card certifications have a recommended renewal date of 2 years. Local State licensing may require yearly CPR renewal. Rockford Ambulance send coupons to their previous students to make recert cpr: $25. If you are wish to come to West Michigan. Rockford Ambulance give 10 CPR and First Aid certifications each month in the Grand Rapids Area. Check americanheart.org and locate a local cpr and first class.

We have to go through CPR every year and 1st aid every 2 years. I pay about $40 and they are usually done together. Some agencies that work with day care providers will provide this training for free or at a lower cost.Check into that. But with all costs on the rise…it’s seeming like we have to pay for everything now a days. :-)

I live in Missouri. The cost is $50.00 to renew CPR and first aid. The CPR is good for 1 year and the first aid is good for 3 years.

I own and operate a center in Nebraska and we get our CPR through Central Nebraska Community Services (same organization that sponsors Head Start) and it’s just $8/ person.

I get it thru my job so I honestly don’t know how much it costs. We do have to renew CPR/First Aid every year.
